Privacy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

DealHunter lets you search Amazon India products and optionally create price, stock, or product-variation alerts. We collect only the information needed to provide those features.

Information we use

• A random browser identifier is stored in a cookie so that this browser can display and remove its own alerts.
• If you request an email alert, we store the email address with the product ASIN, alert type and any target price until the alert is delivered or removed.
• Standard server logs may contain an IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp for security and reliability.

How information is handled

Alert data is stored in a private server directory and is not sold. An email address is cleared after a price alert is successfully sent. You can remove an active alert from the Price Alerts tab in the same browser that created it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and feature usage. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, page-view, and interaction information according to its own privacy terms. Browser controls or content blockers can be used to limit analytics collection.

Advertising cookies

If advertising is enabled after approval, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's previous visits to this or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to personalise advertising where permitted. You can control personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings or review industry opt-out choices at aboutads.info.

Amazon and affiliate links

Product information is requested from Amazon. When you follow an Amazon link, Amazon's own privacy and cookie practices apply. As an Amazon Associate, Smart Shopping Deals earns from qualifying purchases.
